The newest teller and branch capture scanner in the SmartSource line is now available in a network-ready model! The SmartSource Expert Elite combines the high speed and compact footprint of the Elite Series with the network functionality of the SmartSource Expert to deliver a PC-independent scanner that’s ideal for use with decentralized workstations and virtual environments.

A built-in processor and memory run all the necessary API files – solving many bandwidth and compatibility issues. Key functions such as MICR/OCR reading, image cleanup and formatting, and compression all happen onboard the scanner itself, before the image is passed to the workstation. The Expert Elite can communicate over an Ethernet connection with any PC on the branch network, without any loss of performance.

The Expert Elite retains all the premium features of the SmartSource Elite series, including a maximum rated speed of 155 documents per minute, a small footprint, ID card scanning, and a durable design.

Standard features on the SmartSource Professional and Elite series check scanners include an auto-feeder with an open feeder designed for improved productivity, industry-leading Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) reader, easy remote deposit capture applications, and superior image quality with 300 dpi image cameras.
